How to Use this Meta Media Workshop

1. By Using the Authors Predetermined Sequence of Pages to Visit

Once you go to a page, you can select the "next" button at the bottom of that page. Doing so will move you to the next page the authors have selected in their organization of this material.

2. By Creating Your Own Sequence of Pages to visit

Because this is an electronic presentation, it has been designed to enable readers to read all of the material in any order, not necessarily in a pre-determined sequence selected by the authors. Thus, you can effectively explore the material presented by developing your own path through some or all of the material. Here is how you do so.

Below, there are questions you might ask about this on-line presentation or ways the exploration might be used for your own professional development or with students in a classroom. Each question is actually a link to a part (page) of this presentation. On that page there is information answering the question. If you select a question you want answered by pointing and clicking with your mouse, the link will take you to the appropriate page containing the answer. After you finish reading that page, you can proceed in one of these ways

-- You can select other links on that page.
-- You can select from the buttons we provide at the bottom of that page.
-- You can select the "back" or "forward" or "home" buttons, common features of most browsers, that enable you to return to various pages visited.
